The challenge...
Agriculture in Africa falls behind the rest of the world.
According to the 2021 Global Report on Food Crises, there are currently NO African countries categorized as being fully Food Secure.
what we're doing about it
At Nalima, we’re leveraging technology to empower African agronomists and farmers with data, insights, and modern farming knowledge, boosting productivity and improving the quality of their produce.
why is that?
Many farmers still use traditional farming practices passed down from one generation to the next.
These methods often rely on manual labor, rudimentary tools, and outdated techniques.
This results in low yields, low crop diversity, and low resilience to climate change and other environmental factors.
As a result, there is increased poverty and food insecurity among farmers and their communities, as well as limited access to markets and economic opportunities.
